Remembrance Day
This morning we had our first official Dr. George Stanley Remembrance Day Ceremony, students each wore a poppy and displayed a high level of respect and reflection during the assembly. Beforehand we had a brief discussion on the history of World Wars I and II, and how these historical events deeply connect with our current Rights and Freedoms as Canadians.
